Privacy by design
CupCraft is a local-first app. It does not require an account and the developer does not collect, receive, sell, or share personal data through the app.
Information stored on your device
Beans, brew logs, espresso shot logs, tasting notes, recipes, maintenance routines, timer history, ratings, notes, and settings are stored in the app's private storage on your device.
When you choose a photo, CupCraft copies it into the app's private storage for journal use. CupCraft does not upload those photos.
Notifications
If you enable maintenance reminders, CupCraft schedules local notifications on your device. Notification permission and delivery are managed by iOS or iPadOS.
Exports and sharing
CupCraft can create JSON, CSV, and PDF exports on your device. Nothing is shared unless you intentionally choose a destination through Apple's share sheet. Once exported, the copy is controlled by the destination you select.
Analytics, tracking, and advertising
CupCraft contains no third-party analytics, advertising SDK, cross-app tracking, or developer-operated telemetry. Apple may provide diagnostics under the settings and policies of your Apple account and device.
Data retention and deletion
Your data remains on your device until you edit or delete it, remove the app, or erase the device. CupCraft includes controls for deleting journal records and local content. Because the developer does not receive your data, there is no server-side account or remote copy for the developer to delete.
Children
CupCraft is a general-audience coffee journaling and educational app that is not directed specifically to children; the developer does not knowingly receive personal information from children through the app, and any information entered in CupCraft remains stored locally on the user's device as described above.
Changes
If CupCraft's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed behavior is released.
