SoundMind

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

SoundMind is designed as a local-first tone studio for your own recordings. This policy explains what the app handles and how that information is used.

Information SoundMind handles

How information is used

SoundMind uses your audio and notes to provide core app features: recording, import, tone reinterpretation, playback, local library, and export. Subscription status is used to unlock paid features.

Storage

Recordings, generated clips, and local metadata are stored on your device unless you choose to export or share them through iOS. Deleting the app may remove local app data from the device.

Tracking and accounts

The current launch path does not require a SoundMind account, does not use advertising tracking, and does not sell personal data.

Microphone and speech permissions

SoundMind asks for microphone access so you can record audio. The app may also include speech-recognition permission text for optional transcription work, but automatic transcription is currently paused in the main runtime.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Apple processes payment information and subscription management. SoundMind receives entitlement status so the app can unlock subscribed features.

Children and acceptable use

SoundMind is not intended to create deceptive, harmful, or non-consensual voice content. Use the app only with your own voice or audio you have permission to use.
