Privacy Policy

SoundMind is designed as a local-first tone studio for your own recordings. This policy explains what the current version of the app handles, where processing happens, and what information reaches the developer.

Information SoundMind handles

• Audio you record or import.
• Generated audio clips and clip details such as tone, duration, and saved-file location.
• Optional notes or labels you type into the app.
• Subscription entitlement status provided by Apple StoreKit.

On-device audio processing

Tone reinterpretation is performed entirely on your device. SoundMind does not upload or transmit your recordings, imported audio, generated clips, or notes to SoundMind or developer servers, advertising or analytics networks, or third-party artificial-intelligence services for tone processing.

How information is used

The app uses your audio and notes locally to provide recording, import, tone reinterpretation, playback, library, and export features. Subscription entitlement status is used on your device to unlock paid features.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Recordings, generated clips, and local metadata remain on your device until you delete them in SoundMind or remove the app. Copies you intentionally export or share are controlled by the destination you choose and that destination's privacy practices.

Tracking, analytics, and accounts

The current version does not require a SoundMind account and does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, analytics, or cloud sync. SoundMind does not sell personal data.

Microphone and speech permissions

SoundMind asks for microphone access so you can record audio. Automatic transcription is currently disabled. The current tone-processing flow does not send audio to a speech-recognition service.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Apple processes payment information and subscription management. SoundMind receives entitlement status so the app can unlock subscribed features.

Support communications

If you contact support by email, the developer receives the email address and information you choose to include. Support correspondence is used only to respond to your request and meet legal or security obligations, and is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. You may request deletion of support correspondence by using the contact address below, subject to legal retention requirements.

Children

SoundMind is not directed to children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the developer in a support message, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Policy changes

If a future version adds server-side audio processing, cloud sync, analytics, or another form of off-device collection, this policy and the app's App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is released.
