Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 June 2026

MyNopoly is built to keep your financial data private. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

MyNopoly does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What we store, and where

All of your data — transactions, categories, budgets, recurring items, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database. The home-screen widget reads a small summary from a private, app-only storage area on the same device so it can show your balance and top categories. None of this leaves your device.

If you enable iCloud sync (in a future version), your data syncs through your own private iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud/CloudKit. In that case the data is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy terms; the developer of MyNopoly never has access to it.

What we collect

Nothing. MyNopoly has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. There are no accounts to create.

Permissions

MyNopoly does not request access to your contacts, location, photos, microphone, or camera. If you turn on budget notifications, the app asks for permission to send you local notifications on your device only.

Exporting your data

You can export your transactions to a CSV file at any time and share it using the standard iOS share sheet. What happens to that file afterward is up to you.

Children

MyNopoly is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
