MyNopoly is built to keep your financial data private. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
In this version of MyNopoly, we collect nothing. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no crash-reporting SDK, and the developer never receives your financial data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Two things are worth stating plainly, because “nothing” is a strong word. First, if a future version adds optional iCloud sync or crash reporting, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be called out in the release notes — see Terms of Use and the sections below. Second, if you buy a subscription, Apple processes that purchase; see “Subscriptions” below.
All of your data — transactions, categories, budgets, recurring items, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database. The home-screen widget reads a small summary from a private, app-only storage area on the same device so it can show your balance and top categories. None of this leaves your device.
MyNopoly 1.1 does not use iCloud. If you enable iCloud sync (offered in a future version, and off unless you turn it on), your data syncs through your own private iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud/CloudKit. In that case the data is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy terms; the developer of MyNopoly never has access to it.
Nothing, in MyNopoly 1.1. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. There are no accounts to create, so there is nothing for us to hold.
MyNopoly Premium is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple. Apple handles the payment and tells the app whether a valid subscription exists; we never see your payment details. Apple provides the developer with aggregated sales and subscription reports, which are not linked to your identity and contain none of your financial data.
MyNopoly does not request access to your contacts, location, photos, microphone, or camera. If you turn on budget notifications, the app asks for permission to send you local notifications on your device only.
You can export your transactions to a CSV file at any time and share it using the standard iOS share sheet. What happens to that file afterward is up to you.
MyNopoly is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children, and contains no advertising and no third-party tracking.
This policy describes the version of MyNopoly named at the top of the page. If a future version changes what the app collects or transmits — for example by adding optional iCloud sync or crash reporting — this policy will be updated before that version is released, the “Last updated” date and version will change, and the change will be noted in the app’s release notes.
